If you have ever looked at a no-cost or low-cost opportunity online and wondered “would it work?” then this article is for you!  Because two years ago when I started working on the internet, I would have said “NO, absolutely not”.   Step away from that business opportunity!  But times have changed.  We are and have been in an economic downtime and things have had to change online.  Companies are having to offer more than they used to.  They are having to make opportunities available to people who cannot afford high ticket prices.

But don’t get me wrong.  I’m not saying that people are not buying anything that costs money.  Just that there are more and more people, sometimes quite desperate people, coming online and needing to find some sort of opportunity that they can afford to do, without adding to their difficulties.  These people do, of course, have to give something else instead of their money, and that is their time.

Paid-to-Click sites have grown enormously over the last year or so and I believe some people with no money spend every waking hour clicking for .0001 of a cent or slightly more.  The clever ones realise they need to build a downline on these sites so that they are receiving money for the efforts of others and not just themselves.  But many clever marketers are adding paid-to-click sites to their advertising and telling people who want to join their opportunity but cannot afford to, that they should do some clicking until they have made enough money to join.

There are a number of business opportunities now with a one-time charge only and no monthly fees.  The day’s of the monthly autoship seem to be numbered when there are so many opportunities out there with no such charges attached.  Many involve a small one time fee which get’s you to one level in the company, then when you refer a few people into the company you move higher up, then refer a few more and so on.

As for no-cost  business opportunities, I have come across a few of late that clearly are working well, despite many people having doubts.  One in particular involves you signing up for a few offers (many of them free), then referring others to the site.  The large companies who make the offers are the ones who pay for you to refer people.   I have seen many people doing very well with this opportunity however for people living in England such as myself, there are not so many free offers, so it is more difficult to get started.

Recently I have even seen a few sites offering to pay YOU for joining!  Not sure how many of these are realistic, but I know that some of them offer you money, but you have to be prepared to work the system before they would let you withdraw your money, and they often set a level at which you can withdraw.

Overall, there are many great possibilities nowadays for making money with no-cost or low-cost opportunities.  Just make sure you study them for awhile and check out how any people are marketing the business over a period of time.  Of course with free opportunities you could grab a position yourself and check it out from the inside before you decide whether it’s a ‘goer’ or not.

A few weeks ago I spent some time at a lovely campsite overlooking the sea and the weather was lovely (I mention this because its quite unusual for us in England to have lovely weather!)  I spent some considerable time just sitting staringat the waves crashing on the rocks or sometimes just quietly lapping on the shore.

The thing I realised was that the tide will come in and go out everyday, whatever is in it’s way, whatever the weather, whatever else is happening in the world.  It is unstoppable!!  Exactly the quality that you need to build a Network Marketing business!  The sea doesn’t care how many barriers you put in front of it.  It doesn’t care if we build sea walls and sea defences; it will still come in everyday!  And this is what you need to do to build an amazing Network Marketing business.

So be unstoppable in your business.  Ignore the people who tell you it can’t be done (even if it is your family and friends!); you know it CAN be done!  Go around all the obstacles that you will find on your way, or if that doesn’t work, go over them!  And when you are having a bad day, simply give yourself an hour or two off and go out and have fun.  Treat yourself. Take the dog for a walk, get some fresh air; go somewhere you have never been before.  Then get back on the horse (!) and ride away to success.  Don’t allow anyone or anything to stand in the way of your success.

Because just like the sea, you can be unstoppable. You need to be focused, determined and consistent.  Make a detailed plan of what you want to achieve each day and follow it as closely as you can.  Realise that a Home Business takes consistent action for maybe a year or even two before you will see results.  Of course, your life will get in the way; that’s a given!  Just don’t let it get you down.  Understand that stuff happens.  Just totally focus on what you want to achieve and get your head down and keep working.

Keep your dreams alive and right there in front of you, and you will be unstoppable!

I’ve got a bad reputation at home at the moment.   My family complain, albeit good-naturedly, that I am on the computer when they get up in the morning, and I am on the computer when they go to bed at night.  If they want to use the computer, they ask me nowadays, and I give them a time-slot when they can use it.   I’m sure they find it amusing that their Mother goes online more than they do, and particularly goes on all the social media sites more than them

I live in England, so I may also be watching webinars in the middle of the night, so can occasionally be found up in my pyjamas at 2am on the computer.  This is hard work.  Time goes so quickly on the internet, and I am fascinated in what I am doing, so I forget to eat,  take exercise or indeed cook meals, sometimes!!

So why am I working such long days?

 Because I am building my home based Network Marketing business!!

 Do I intend to always work such long days?   No, I am working hard now, so that eventually I can work from anywhere in the world whilst I am travelling around.   Something which I intend to be doing alot over the next few years.

What so many people in this business seem to forget is that this business is called NetWORK Marketing! 

Not NetPLAY or NetMakeABitOfEffort!

We need to remember that you have to put some WORK into the equation.   People are not going to flock to you if you make no attempt to connect with them or if you do not let them know you are here.  You need to be marketing yourself, giving valuable information to people and helping others to succeed in the industry.  You need to be writing articles and doing videos and sending out emails.  And yes you need to be on the social media sites, being seen and giving value.

 So many people get involved because their up-line sell them on the residual income in MLM.  But guess what??  You actually have to put in the WORK first!

Residual income doesn’t kick in at the beginning.   First you have to WORK at your business; put other people in your down-line.  When you have a business that if you take a week off and come back, to find that your business has GROWN whilst you were away – that is when you can slow down.  MLM is NOT about getting rich quickly.   It can offer a fantastic lifestyle, but only to those with determination and grit, who get on with the job in hand and don’t let anything stand in their way.  Those who WORK!

I, for one, would not want anyone in my down-line who is not prepared to put in the effort.  The ‘I’ll give it 90 days’ syndrome does not interest me.  I am in it for the long haul!  I am prepared to put in the effort.  I know it will be worth it for the sense of achievement alone.  And the money may come in handy  for the grandkids, when they appear….
