Article Marketing – Will Google Rank Your Article?

Article Marketing is growing fast as a free way to generate leads online.  I am a great advocate of David Wood’s work in this area, and have just recently watched his article marketing webinar for what must be the 4th time, at least.  Every time I watch his webinars I discover some little principle to improve my lead generation from article writing.  He has the amazing ability to talk, seemingly without breathing, almost constantly, giving one after the other of precious little nuggets of information!

He can generate 50 leads a day through Article Marketing!

Something that I have heard him say several times which has somehow only just penetrated my skull is that Google has certain principles that it uses to decide whether an article is of value or not, and whether it should be ranked highly.  There are actually four main principles and they may seem simple at first:

1.            Relevancy – I didn’t really realise what he meant by this at first, but one day on Twitter, I  clicked on a link from a lady who was talking about finding people in your local area; good idea I thought – to find local people who wanted to start a home business would be wonderful.  Well, what I got WAS in my local area, but it was women who were looking      for…..um, well you know!!  Not quite what I had in mind!  If you click on a link about a   subject and find nothing there relating to that subject, it is not relevant, and google will not rank it highly.

2.             Popularity – Obviously this speaks for itself.  If it is something popular that lots of people are doing google searches on everyday, then google will rate it well.

3.            Unique Content – Again, pretty obvious.  Even if many of us are discussing the same idea, we  all should have our own slant on the subject and be able to make it interesting for the  reader.  We all offer something different!  Copying is just plain lazy.  Even if you like  someone else’s subject, you can definitely think of a different angle and put in your own  observations and thoughts.  So be Original.

4.            Consistency – It is no good writing an article today, and another one two weeks on Friday if  you want to generate leads.  You need to be writing consistently day after day before you will see any results.

If your articles contain all the necessary elements you will create a BUZZ!

However writing articles is just a small part of what you need if you want to generate lots of leads.  Your article is just sitting there on your blog, but no-one is going to see it if you do not get some traffic to it!  So now you need to create lots of bridges for people to get to it.  Here are some ways:

1.            Social bookmarking.  If you use a social bookmarking site such as Onlywire.com, your article        will be linked immediately to 26 of the most popular, most visited sites on the internet!

2.            Promote your article using Video Marketing Youtube is massive nowadays and shooting a  quick video to promote your article should only take a few minutes and get you massive exposure to your article.

3.            Do an article submission to as many directories as you can.  This step is by far the most important as their are hundreds of directories you can post in.  Using an article submission tool will help speed up the process, saving you a tremendous amount of time and effort.

All of these should link back to your original article which could be on your blog or website, therefore getting you massive traffic to your website!

Jim Chao, Internet Superstar!

Jim Chao Rocks!  Not many 22 year olds can go from flat broke to six figures in a year! He started in MLM at the age of 18, doing what everyone does at first; he chased his friends and family.  He actually had to sell his guitar collectables at one point to sustain his Network Marketing career!   But it was when Jim found a mentor on the internet who was earning a five-figure income that he realised the right way forward.  In fact it took him only 8 weeks of using the system to generate leads before he was earning considerable amounts of money.

He first came to everyone’s notice when he became a Superstar on Facebook.   Jim was producing high numbers of leads but was very happy to share his methods and the 76 minute webinar he did for his lead system has become very highly prized.  It is being offered all around the internet on social media sites and on list builders such as ViralUrl.  On Facebook it is quite clear to those of us in the know, who the students of Jim Chao are, as they are continually using his methods of lead generation on Facebook.

His next offering was a webinar on how to supercharge ViralUrl, which was well attended and is also being used around the internet, though it is not as popular as his facebook training. Of late, Jim Chao has joined up with two other internet gurus, David Wood and Kenny Gregg, to introduce a product called Viral Content Magic.  David has not been working on the internet for a long time, but has risen very quickly, mostly be using Article Marketing to generate free leads.  Kenny Gregg has been in direct sales and marketing for many years and became an almost overnight success when he came online.

Viral Content Magic was released a couple of months ago and it goes over and above the training in the back office of Lead System Pro, to give lots of ‘insider’ tips and suggestions to get ahead in internet marketing.  It covers how to set up your Wordpress blog, what plugs-ins you REALLY need, article writing, SEO, Video Marketing and much much more.  It is full of valuable content which will help you stand out from the crowds and give you that slight edge!

What I believe Jim does that not many other people do, is that he works on one area of internet marketing, gets it going, then studies it to see what is working and what is not, and how he could increase his sign-ups and conversions.  So even if he is getting lots of leads with one system, he continually improves on it to get as much out of it as he can.  He also seems to be good at working on one strategy at a time, building it up until he knows everything there is to know about it, before moving onto another strategy.

In short Jim Chao deserves his ‘Internet Superstar’ tag, as although he is still young, he has worked hard to achieve this level and is out there helping as many other people to achieve the same results, which is after all the basis of Network Marketing.  Jim Chao is now a leader, producing his own content and hosting his own webinars, and joining forces with other industry leaders.

If you want to be a leader and follow on in Jim Chao’s footsteps, you can join the exact lead system that Jim uses by putting your name and email into the form on the right.  Get the training you deserve!
