Choose MLM In 2010 – 6 Reasons To Get Involved

1.  Its cheap!  What other home business could you get involved in for around $250?  Franchises certainly do not start for less than several thousand dollars.  Any other business would need considerable start up funds; for premises, goods to sell, equipment and so on.  And of course, you do not need employees, with all the hassle and difficulties they bring with them.

2.  There are hundreds of different MLM companies out there, selling everything from books to health products, so there is something to interest everyone.  Network Marketing is attracting more and more high ranking people nowadays (like Donald Trump!), so more and more companies are starting up every few weeks, with some very unusual and interesting products.  MLM’s generally offer products that are better than anything else offered on the high street.

3.  You can take up MLM in your spare time, whilst still working at your current ‘day job’.  MLM fits quite nicely into the extra hours in your day when you would normally be relaxing or persuing hobbies or sports.  Eventually, as your business builds and exceeds your current salary, you can quit your day job and work full time on your MLM.  Of course, it is necessary to work at it, just like anything else, an MLM is not a get-rich-quick scheme; if you only treat it as a hobby, it will only pay like a hobby!

4.  Age is immaterial in Network Marketing.  As long as you are over 18, there are no restrictions whatsoever.  I have known 18 years do well in MLM and met people happily running a business in their 80′s.  Its an equal playing field!  Many people start their business when they have retired from work.  Some need the money and others just need to be involved in something, meeting new people and pushing themselves out of their comfort zone.  Many students start a Network Marketing business whilst they are in college or university, fitting it in around their studies.

MLM involves pushing yourself to do things you have never done before, talking to people from all walks of life and becoming a better person.  You will be reading books on self improvement and life skills, going to inspiring meetings and generally becoming more than you once were.  MLM is full of optimistic, forward thinking people who want a better life for themselves and their families and are prepared to put in the hard work to succeed.

6.  To make new friends.  It is said that your paycheck is usually very similar to the friends you spend most time with.  So if you want to make more money, you need to spend time with people who have more money than yourself.  This may mean that you lose some of your current friends, especially if you regale them with your business opportunity everytime you meet up with them.  But nowadays this is not necessary.  The internet has changed the way we grow network marketing businesses. In 2010 you can make friends from all around the world, connecting with them via social media, video, skype and email, making your business global instead of local!
